WHAT MAKES THIS DIFFERENT THAN A STICK FRAME PROJECT? IS THIS A PANEL PACKAGE?
What makes Hybrid-FRAME® packages so special is that it is designed thoroughly like a panel package but is fully assembled in the field. This allows for all the benefits without the big ticket cost. This is why we call it Hybrid-FRAME®. The Hybrid-FRAME® packages should split the difference in cost between sticks and panels and should split the difference in time savings. Examples, if a panel package cost 10% more than stick - the Hybrid-FRAME® package will cost 5%. If a panel package will save you 10 days than stick - the Hybrid-FRAME® package will save you 5 days. But besides the savings, you still get all the benefits of waste control, estimating accuracy, and labor controls.
WILL I SAVE MONEY IF I GO TO A Hybrid-FRAME® PACKAGE?
YES! Our Hybrid-FRAME® package is pre-cut, labeled and bundled to optimize efficient use of materials and labor. You can frame in less time with less labor and less waste. (Actual savings will vary by crew. A+ crews will see significant savings)
WILL I NEED MORE SUPERVISION TO PROPERLY USE Hybrid-FRAME® PACKAGES?
NO! Hybrid-FRAME® packages require less supervision in the field, and the organization of the deliveries create a neat and more orderly jobsite. At the beginning of the job, the crew leader will get a packet which shows each piece in each wall for simple construction. And if necessary, one of our team members will come onsite to answer any and all questions.
WILL MY FRAMER CHARGE ME MORE FOR USING A COMPLICATED TECHNICAL PROCESS LIKE THIS?
NO! Framers love our Hybrid-FRAME® pre-cut lumber because it helps them do a better, cleaner, quicker job. And it’s safer too with less cutting. Time is lost in transitioning from one section of the building to another. This will cut down on the transition time.
DO THE CONSTRUCTION PLANS NEED TO BE PERFECT IF I USE Hybrid-FRAME® PACKAGES?
NO! We frequently discover and correct architectural plan errors while going through the design process. We will submit a design packet for approval prior to work starting.
